I have decided not to do any more challenges. I am very sorry for that.
It didn't had that response I wanted, so that is why I end up with them.
Now I am going to put my effort on doing others challenges and educate me more in the zentangle world.
Maybe some day I come back on doing challenges, who knows...

Ninna's Studio - Art by Ninna
About Me
My name is Ninna, I am a woman, 50 years old, single, and have a daughter 26 yrs old. I live in Sweden. I have 2 dogs, one cat and one bird.I have discovered Art again, I am so happy :) I have created drawings on and off in my life, mostly with graphite pencils and aquarelle colors. I have only a minor education in aquarelle painting at the Swedish Art School, and I have also been teaching aquarelle painting earlier at ABF School, courses for adults and children. When I was much younger I finished a Swedish course called "Lär Dig Teckna" with the Swedish artist Åke Skiöld http://seriewikin.serieframjandet.se/index.php/%C3%85ke_Ski%C3%B6ld. When I was in my thirties some of my paintings were displayed at an exhibition at Länsarbetsnämnden in Stockholm. That is what I have done in brief.I discovered Zentangle by an event, and I fell for it. I love the art form! And I also love doodling, mandalas, zendalas, zia's and a lot more. I work as an accountants assistant with lot of figures all day, and Zentangle is quite similar to mathematics. You have to think a lot about how you should do the zentangle; which patterns, pens, paper you should use, you have to count lines and divide strings etc.You can learn more about zentangle at www.zentangle.com and http://tanglepatterns.com.

Ninna's Challenge week 15 - Duotangle Kandysnake-Florez
First of all, SORRY for the delay...
Ninna's Challenge Week 15 (already)
DUOTANGLE - Kandysnake vs. Florez
This week I have been inspired of my clothes. I have found out that my clothes have all sorts of zentangle patterns. These 2 sweathers have the patterns Kandysnake and Florez (a variant).
Funny!
KANDYSNAKE
CLOSEUP KANDYSNAKE
FLOREZ (A VARIANT)
A CLOSEUP OF FLOREZ (A VARIANT OF)
So the challenge of the week is to combine these 2 patterns in a DUOTANGLE.
The string is composed by myself.
You can use it or choose another string.
Here is my string:
As usual you find the patterns at www.tanglepatterns.com
So come on, what are you waiting for!!!
I will post my drawing later on, I haven't finished it quite yet.
So I am eager to see what you come up with!
Pls post your contribution at the bottom of the blog.
Mr Linky.
There are not so many contributions, that is why I have only one Mr Linky
for all weeks. And it's free, and don't cost me anything.
If more people will do the challenge, I'll have to change Mr Linky.
So now you know why.

Well, over to the Challenge.
I have chosen String No 43. Thought it looked nice enough :)

Challenge # 12 - Monotangle Escalator in Blue
Hello! It is a new week, and here is the new challenge for the week.
I have chosen the pattern Escalator in a monotangle and colored with blue.
The string is #040 from tanglepatterns.com.
Here is the string:
And here you can find instructions to do the pattern Escalator.
It wasn't so easy as I thought, it took some time to get it right.
I guess you will notice that :)
http://blog.suzannemcneill.com/2012/08/10/zentangle-3-day-workshop-in-fort-worth.aspx
And here is my finished result after coloring the monotangle in blue. I have used 2 different blue Gelly Roll pens (Sakura) and 2 water color pencils, and the black Unipin 0,1.

Duotangle Week #11-Sugarcane & Jambalee-"Biggify"
Hello!!
I have been so tied up in work, so that's why this challenge is late.
But here it is. The string I have used is No 008.
This week's challenge is a duotangle, and the patterns are Sugarcane and Jambalee.
As usual you can find the string and patterns here:

This time I want you to try something that is called
to "biggify" the patterns.
That means you should draw the patterns bigger than you normally do.
But within the lines as usual.
It was a challenge to me, I often draw small zentangles which take a lot of time. And this time I had to biggify them.
Quite useful to learn I think.
Here is my finished piece.
Happy tangling!

Monotangle Challenge week # 10 - Twile/Stoic
Hello !!
The challenge of this week is a bit late because I have been working so much.
Hope you don't mind... :-)
When I saw the pattern Twile/Stoic, I immediately wanted to give it a try.
This time I have not chosen a string.
I have made it easy for me and only followed the instructions at tanglepatterns.com
So it was a challenge for me to.
I had problems with the shading. I realize that I didn't start the shading from the lines, so I got a line of white which messed with my shading. I was too careful when I shaded, not to shade over the line.
That is the reason.
I tried again, and shaded nearer the line. And the places the shade went over the line, I used the eraser :)
Here you can read about how to draw TWILE/STOIC and hopefully give it a try.
