My name is Ninna, I am a woman, 50 years old, single, and have a daughter 26 yrs old. I live in Sweden. I have 2 dogs, one cat and one bird.I have discovered Art again, I am so happy :) I have created drawings on and off in my life, mostly with graphite pencils and aquarelle colors. I have only a minor education in aquarelle painting at the Swedish Art School, and I have also been teaching aquarelle painting earlier at ABF School, courses for adults and children. When I was much younger I finished a Swedish course called "Lär Dig Teckna" with the Swedish artist Åke Skiöld http://seriewikin.serieframjandet.se/index.php/%C3%85ke_Ski%C3%B6ld. When I was in my thirties some of my paintings were displayed at an exhibition at Länsarbetsnämnden in Stockholm. That is what I have done in brief.I discovered Zentangle by an event, and I fell for it. I love the art form! And I also love doodling, mandalas, zendalas, zia's and a lot more. I work as an accountants assistant with lot of figures all day, and Zentangle is quite similar to mathematics. You have to think a lot about how you should do the zentangle; which patterns, pens, paper you should use, you have to count lines and divide strings etc.You can learn more about zentangle at www.zentangle.com and http://tanglepatterns.com.

Monotangle Challenge week # 10 - Twile/Stoic

Hello !!

The challenge of this week is a bit late because I have been working so much.

Hope you don't mind... :-)

When I saw the pattern Twile/Stoic, I immediately wanted to give it a try.
This time I have not chosen a string.
I have made it easy for me and only followed the instructions at tanglepatterns.com
So it was a challenge for me to.
I had problems with the shading. I realize that I didn't start the shading from the lines, so I got a line of white which messed with my shading. I was too careful when I shaded, not to shade over the line.
That is the reason.
I tried again, and shaded nearer the line. And the places the shade went over the line, I used the eraser :)

Here you can read about how to draw TWILE/STOIC and hopefully give it a try.

And here is my result for TWILE/STOIC.

 HAVE FUN!!
Don't forget to post your drawing at the bottom at Mr Linkys.
And leave a comment, please!!
